Your brain is unique. When you gain an understanding of how you’re wired, you can get more of what you want out of life. It starts with awareness, becomes active, and builds momentum toward a life of your choosing. That’s TRACTION.
My insurance-eligible TRACTION groups offer a supportive space to explore your ADHD-related traits and connect with others who are similarly wired. Learn to embrace your strengths and manage your challenges.

don-baker-150px

Don Baker, MA, LMHC – I’ve been leading groups for adults living with the traits of ADHD for more than 20 years. I am a licensed counselor in the state of Washington, and I received my own diagnosis of ADHD in 1997. I am passionate about sharing evolving, cutting-edge information about ADHD wiring and helping people with ADHD connect with others in their “tribe.”

Hundreds of people have participated in my TRACTION groups. With their feedback, I’ve fine-tuned a sequence of information and exploration that really gets results.

I feel less defined by and defeated by my ADHD traits. I’m seeing the positive traits that go with the ADHD wiring. (Winter 2018 group participant)

Rather than traditional support groups, TRACTION groups have a flexible, collaborative structure in which you can focus on increasing your self-knowledge and practicing strategies. Confidential sharing within each group helps encourage accountability and break down isolation.

This ADHD thing is bigger than I thought – not in a bad way. Now that I’m understanding the big picture of ADHD, I’m much better at creating strategies that work for me where I am. (Winter 2018 group participant)
