It’s that time again! Registration is open for all my Seattle ADHD groups through the end of the year.

These groups are a great way to plot the next moves in your life journey. They offer a supportive space for you to better understand your ADHD-related traits and connect with others who are similarly wired. You’ll learn to embrace your strengths, mitigate challenges, and get more of what you want out of life.

Over the past 16 years, hundreds of people have participated in my face-to-face ADHD group classes. With their feedback, I’ve been able to fine-tune a sequence of information and exploration that really gets results.

This ADHD thing is bigger than I thought – not in a bad way. Now that I’m understanding the big picture of ADHD, I’m much better at creating strategies that work for me where I am. (Summer 2016 group participant)

Rather than traditional support groups, these groups have a flexible, collaborative structure in which you can focus on increasing your self-knowledge and practicing strategies. Confidential sharing within each group helps encourage accountability and break down isolation.

Diagnosed at 5, I thought I knew “it all.” Surprised at how much I didn’t know. Don’s classes really have filled in the gaps in my understanding and as a result, I am moving forward! (Summer 2016 group participant)

TRACTIONbasic

Start here if you’re new to my groups. TRACTIONbasic, previously called Life Strategies 101, will help you gain a deep understanding of what ADHD is and what it isn’t. You’ll have the opportunity to explore your own unique wiring, and you’ll gather and practice strategies for managing your challenges and making the most of your strengths.

Choose either series — or multiply the benefits by joining both.

Fall Intensive:  7 sessions on Wednesday evenings, 5-7pm

  • October 5, 12, 19, 26
  • November 2, 9, 16

Holiday Jump Start:  4 sessions on Wednesday evenings, 5-7pm

  • November 30
  • December 7, 14, 21

 

TRACTIONbootcamp

TRACTIONbootcamp is for those who have completed at least one TRACTIONbasic group. You’ll continue using group support to maintain your momentum toward living successfully with your own brand of ADHD. Together we’ll develop our strategies and skills. Create space for creativity, inspiration and action in your life!

Fall Intensive:  7 sessions on Thursday evenings, 5-7pm

  • October 6, 13, 20, 27
  • November 3, 10, 17

Holiday Jump Start: 4 sessions on Thursday evenings, 5-7pm

  • December 1, 8, 15, 22

Costs & Insurance Coverage

These groups are insurance eligible. I (Don Baker, MA, LMHC) am a provider with Premera, Regence, and sub-plans of both. If you are out-of-network, we can attempt to bill your insurance company for you. Many plans cover some of the cost of group. If you’d like us to check on your benefit level for you, please email maryann_opplus@hotmail.com. She’s happy to help you.

If you are not using health insurance, full payment for all sessions will be collected at the first session. All groups cost $65 per session.
